Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Pause Studio collects, how we use it and who we share it with. Pause Studio is run by Pause Socials, based in Singapore (“we”, “us”).

What we collect

  • Your account details. Your name, work email, agency, CEA registration number and agency licence number. Your password goes straight to our sign-in provider. Pause Studio’s own servers never receive it.
  • Our invite list. Pause Studio is invite-only, so we keep the email addresses we have invited.
  • What you add and create. Your Brand Profile and interview answers, your voice profile, stories, listings, links you save, drafts, scripts, carousels, calendar plans, saved news, and the photos and logos you upload.
  • Usage records. Which AI actions you run, the credits they use and how much AI processing each one took. These records hold numbers and labels, not your text.

How we use it

  • to run your account, sign you in and check that you’re on the invite list;
  • to write drafts from your own material and in your voice;
  • to add your CEA and licence numbers to the content you publish;
  • to count your credits and keep usage within limits;
  • to fix problems and keep Pause Studio secure.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run Pause Studio:

  • Supabase — our database, sign-in and file storage provider. It holds your account, your content and the photos you upload.
  • OpenAI — when you ask Pause Studio to write or edit something, the relevant text from your material is sent to OpenAI to generate it. Listing photos you add to Carousel Studio are also sent, so the AI can see what each photo shows.
  • Vercel — hosts the Pause Studio website and app.
  • TikTok — when you save a TikTok link, we send that link to TikTok to get the video’s title and thumbnail.

We don’t sell your personal data, and we don’t share it with advertisers.

Cookies

Pause Studio only uses the cookies it needs to keep you signed in. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies, and there are no tracking scripts on the site.

The app also saves a few things in your browser, such as your light or dark theme and drafts in progress, so they’re still there when you come back. These stay on your device.

Where it’s kept and for how long

Your data is stored with the service providers above, who may store or process it outside Singapore. We keep your account and content for as long as your account is open. You can delete photos and some other items yourself in the app. To close your account and have its data deleted, message us on WhatsApp and we’ll handle it.

Your choices

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. To do that, message us on WhatsApp. We aim to handle personal data in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. Our Terms of Use explain the rest of how Pause Studio works.
